Our Commitment

Hier Applications Limited ("Hier", "we", "our", or "us") is committed making our services accessible and inclusive for all users.

​The Accessibility Statement applies to:

  • The Hier mobile application (iOS and Android)

  • The Hier website

  • The Hier business dashboard

  • Any related online services operated by Hier


We believe that everyone should be able to access employment opportunities and recruitment services regardless of ability, disability, technology, or individual circumstances.

Our goal is to continually improve accessibility across all areas of the Hier platform and reduce barriers to participation in the hiring process.


Accessibility Standards

Hier is working towards alignment with:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA

  • UK Equality Act 2010 accessibility principles​

  • European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements where applicable

  • Accessibility expectations published by Apple App Store and Google Play


While we strive to meet these standards, some areas of our platform may not yet fully conform. Accessibility improvements form part of our ongoing product development roadmap.

We design and develop our services with accessibility in mind and aim to support users through:

Navigation and Interaction

  • Consistent navigation patterns throughout the platform

  • Logical page structures and layouts

  • Keyboard-accessible functionality on supported web experiences

  • Clear interactive controls and buttons

  • Responsive layouts designed for mobile and desktop devices

Visual Accessibility

  • Readable typography and scalable interface elements

  • Colour palettes selected with usability and readability considerations

  • Support for operating system accessibility settings where available

  • Mobile experiences designed to work across a variety of screen sizes and device types

Platform Accessibility Support

The Hier mobile application is built using modern mobile development frameworks that support accessibility technologies provided by iOS and Android, including:

  • Apple VoiceOver

  • Android TalkBack

  • Dynamic text and display settings where supported by the operating system


The Hier web platforms are developed using modern web technologies designed to support accessibility best practices and assistive technologies.


Areas for Improvement 

We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process.

​At the time of publication:

  • We have not yet completed a formal independent accessibility audit.

  • Some areas of the platform may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

  • Certain content, forms, media, or interactive features may require further optimisation for assistive technologies.

  • Accessibility features may vary between mobile, web, and dashboard experiences.


We are actively reviewing and improving accessibility as Hier grows.


Ongoing Accessibility Work

Our planned accessibility improvements include:

  • Enhanced screen reader support

  • Improved keyboard navigation 

  • Accessibility testing across supported devices and browsers

  • Improved colour contrast validation

  • Better form labelling and error messaging 

  • Accessibility reviews during product releases

  • Ongoing monitoring against WCAG guidance
